During the slight easing of lockdown restrictions around the end of July, a team of us escaped up to Sandwood Bay on the Northwest coast of Scotland for two days of camping right on the beach.
We were exceptionally lucky with the weather and enjoyed a beautiful sunset both nights. Despite being absolutely brutalised by midges on the five mile hike the beach, this was one of the best jaunts yet.
